Ayúdanos a Honrar a Nuestra Mamá, Maria “Mela” Escalante.

Hola, mi nombre es Yancy, estoy creando esta página en nombre mío y de mi hermana para poder despedir con dignidad a nuestra hermosa madre, Maria Escalante conocida con cariño como Mela.

Nuestra mamá falleció después de una gran batalla de salud con cancer y nuestros corazones están completamente destrozados. Éramos solo las tres: mi hermana, mi mamá y yo. Éramos una familia pequeña pero muy unidas, y ella era el centro de todo. Perderla es como perder el corazón de nuestro mundo.

Ella fue una madre increíble fuerte, generosa y llena de amor. Hizo todo lo posible por darnos una buena vida y siempre estuvo para nosotras, sin importar las circunstancias. Nos crió con cariño, risas y muchísimo amor, incluso en los momentos más difíciles. Ahora solo quedamos nosotras dos, intentando sobrellevar esta pérdida y hacer todo lo posible para despedirla como ella se merece.

Actualmente estamos enfrentando el costo de su funeral, que en total son $11,000. Por eso pedimos ayuda a nuestros seres queridos, amistades y a quienes alguna vez hayan conocido el amor de una madre como la nuestra.

Cada donación, grande o pequeña, irá directamente a cubrir los gastos del funeral y entierro. Si no puede donar, lo entendemos completamente. Con sus oraciones pidiéndole a Dios que nos dé la fuerza para seguir adelante sin nuestra querida madre.

We are heartbroken to share the passing of our beloved mother, Maria Escalante, known lovingly as Mela.

Hello, my name is Yancy. I'm creating this page on behalf of myself and my sister to help give a dignified farewell to our beautiful mother, Maria Escalante, lovingly known as Mela.

Our mom passed away after a long and difficult battle with cancer, and our hearts are completely shattered. It was just the three of us my sister, my mom, and me. We were a small but very close family, and she was the center of it all. Losing her feels like losing the heart of our world.

She was an incredible mother strong, generous, and full of love. She did everything she could to give us a good life and was always there for us, no matter what. She raised us with love, laughter, and endless care, even through the hardest times. Now it’s just the two of us, trying to cope with this loss and do everything we can to say goodbye to her the way she deserves.

We are currently facing the cost of her funeral, which totals $11,000. That’s why we’re asking for help from loved ones, friends, and anyone who has ever known the love of a mother like ours.

Every donation, big or small, will go directly toward covering her funeral and burial expenses. If you’re unable to give, we completely understand. Your prayers and asking God to give us the strength to carry on without our beloved mom mean just as much.
