Today we come to you with our heart in our hands to ask for support at a very difficult time for our family.
Our grandmother, María Luisa Jiménez Pichardo, is currently hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the CGE - Center for Gastrodiagnosis and Specialties, due to a delicate health condition.
She was admitted after presenting a cardiac event, accompanied by pneumonia acquired in the community. In addition, she has previous medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and atrial fibrillation, which have complicated her state of health and have required specialized and constant medical attention.
Unfortunately, the medical center where she is being treated did not accept the insurance, which has generated very high hospital expenses, especially for her stay in the ICU and the procedures necessary to stabilize her.
As a family, we are doing everything possible, but the costs have exceeded our means. Our greatest desire is that María Luisa continues to receive the medical care she needs without economic concern being an obstacle. Our grandmother is the pillar of our family.
For this reason, we have created this solidarity campaign. Any contribution, no matter how small, will be of great help, and we also deeply thank those who can share this cause.

Hoy acudimos a ustedes con el corazón en la mano para pedir apoyo en un momento muy difícil para nuestra familia.
Nuestra abuela, María Luisa Jiménez Pichardo, se encuentra actualmente hospitalizada en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos (UCI) del CGE – Centro de Gastrodiagnóstico y Especialidades, debido a un cuadro de salud delicado.
Fue ingresada tras presentar un evento cardíaco, acompañado de una neumonía adquirida en la comunidad. Además, ella tiene condiciones médicas previas como hipertensión, diabetes y fibrilación auricular, lo que ha complicado su estado de salud y ha requerido atención médica especializada y constante.
Lamentablemente, el centro médico donde está siendo atendida no aceptó el seguro, lo que ha generado gastos hospitalarios muy elevados, especialmente por su permanencia en UCI y los procedimientos necesarios para estabilizarla.
Como familia, estamos haciendo todo lo posible, pero los costos han sobrepasado nuestras posibilidades. Nuestro mayor deseo es que María Luisa continúe recibiendo la atención médica que necesita sin que la preocupación económica sea un obstáculo. Nuestra abuela es el pilar de nuestra familia.
Por esta razón, hemos creado esta campaña solidaria. Cualquier aporte, por pequeño que sea, será de gran ayuda, y también agradecemos profundamente a quienes puedan compartir esta causa.
