Maria T. Guillen, a loving and devoted wife to Daniel Guillen for 43 years and mother to Fidel Guillen and Denny Guillen, has been courageously battling terminal ovarian carcinosarcoma, a rare and aggressive cancer, since her diagnosis in June. Over the past six weeks, Maria has endured immense challenges with strength and grace. Sadly, her fight is coming to an end.

Maria dedicated 15 years of service to Terrell ISD as a custodian, where she was known for her warmth, hard work, and kind spirit. Just one month before her diagnosis, Maria was unexpectedly let go from her position—resulting in the loss of her life insurance coverage.

As our family prepares to say goodbye, we’re asking for your support to help cover funeral and memorial expenses, and to give Maria the dignified farewell she deserves.

This has been an incredibly difficult time for our family emotionally and financially. Your generosity will allow us to focus on honoring her memory and grieving without the weight of financial stress.

Maria T. Guillen, una esposa amorosa de Daniel Guillen durante 43 años y madre dedicada de Fidel Guillen y Denny Guillen, ha estado luchando valientemente contra un carcinosarcoma ovárico terminal, un cáncer raro y agresivo, desde su diagnóstico en junio. En las últimas seis semanas, Maria ha enfrentado grandes desafíos con fortaleza y dignidad. Lamentablemente, su batalla está llegando a su fin.

Maria dedicó 15 años de servicio a Terrell ISD como conserje, donde era conocida por su calidez, ética de trabajo y espíritu amable. Desafortunadamente, fue despedida de su puesto solo un mes antes de su diagnóstico, lo que también resultó en la pérdida de su póliza de seguro de vida.
