Hi, my name is Edgar, and I’m creating this fundraiser for my sister, Maria del Jesus Marrufo. On date (approximately 2 weeks from today-exact date TBD), she will undergo an emergency kidney removal surgery due to a tumor.

Over the past few months, my sister began experiencing symptoms like pain and fatigue. After a couple of medical visits and evaluations with specialists, doctors determined the only option is to remove the kidney.

Due to the surgery and the fact that she has no health insurance, she will be facing mounting medical bills. We are seeking $24,500 to cover:
