El 22 de junio de 2026, a las 8:47 p. m., mi mamá falleció. Gracias a todos los que han mantenido a nuestra familia en sus pensamientos y oraciones durante este difícil momento.

Hoy estamos con el corazón roto al compartir que nuestra mamá, Maria Cortez, se encuentra conectada a soporte vital y se acerca al final de su vida. Es madre de tres hijas, una esposa amoroso , abuela de dos nietos, hermana, tía, y amiga.

El jueves 18 de junio de 2026 sufrió un aneurisma cerebral fatal mientras asistía a su clase de natación, una nueva afición que había comenzado este mismo año. Sus amigas la encontraron inconsciente. Le encantaba aprender a nadar. Cada mañana salía con su gorro de natación y traje de baño, lista para su clase y entusiasmada por ver a sus amigas y seguir aprendiendo. Disfrutaba de la jardinería, la cocina y pasar tiempo con su familia. Es una mujer sumamente cariñosa que siempre anteponía el bienestar de los demás al suyo propio.

Today we are heartbroken to share that our mom, Maria Cortez, is on life support and approaching the end of her life soon. She is a mother of three daughters, a loving wife, a grandmother of two, a sister, aunt, and friend.

On Thursday, June 18, 2026, she suffered a fatal brain aneurysm while at her swimming class, a new hobby she picked up this year. She was found unconscious by her friends. She loved learning how to swim, and left every morning in her swimming cap and bathing suit ready for her class, excited to see her friends and to learn. She loved gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family. She is the most caring woman and always put everyone first before herself.

We are asking for any support you can give our family to help with medical bills and funeral expenses. Every donation, prayer, and share means more than words can ever express.
