Our dear friend and co-worker Maria Corral is going through unimaginable pain right now. Just a few days ago, her parents were taken by ICE while they were simply doing what they’ve always done — working hard to support their family and contribute to their community. In an instant, their lives were turned upside down.

These are incredibly difficult times for immigrant families in America. No one should have to live in fear that loved ones will be taken away without warning. The emotional distress, uncertainty, and financial burden that come with fighting detention and possible deportation are overwhelming.

We are raising funds to help Maria cover the urgent legal expenses, travel costs, and daily necessities that come with trying to reunite her family. Every dollar counts, whether it goes toward hiring an immigration lawyer, paying court fees, or simply helping Maria take a day off work to meet with legal counsel.
