My name is Ray Brodeur. It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of my sister in law, Maria Brodeur, on Tuesday evening of November 11. Maria lost her battle unexpectedly with a severe respiratory illness. Maria was an amazing wife, mother, sister, sister in law, and friend. She always could make you smile and had the ability to make you feel truly heard when you talked with her. She was a welcoming presence to everyone around her. When Maria and Bobby met, there was an instant attraction. Together, with their children from previous relationships, built a family and a home. They soon added four more additions to their family for a total combined of nine children. This happy and full home is now short their matriarch. We are all devestated by this sudden loss and were not prepared for the high cost of funeral arrangements.

We want to give Maria the memorial she deserves to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes. We are raising money to cover expenses for (wake, service, cremation, and keepakes for her children) or (wake, funeral, burial, and headstone). As of this moment the children have not decided which one they want. Once a decision is made we will update this.

Our goal is to raise $20,000 by 12/04/25. Any contribution, no matter the size, would mean so much to us as we navigate this difficult time. If we are to exceed our goal, the additional funds would go directly to helping Bobby and their children with their first Thanksgiving and Christmas without their wife and mom. We also understand that as we approach the holidays, donating may not be feasible for some. We encourage people to share this link and to share your favorite memories of Maria.
