Support Maria's Journey to the Convent

Donation protected
Dearest friends,

Thank you for the gift that you are in my life.
I want to excitedly share that I am entering the convent as an aspirant for the religious sister’s branch of the Community of the Beatitudes. I am overwhelmingly joy-filled. As an aspirant, I will be doing the first year of formation and discernment, called the Common Year of Formation, living full-time with the sisters in the convent in Denver, with the prospect of continuing formation in the motherhouse in Toulouse. Fr Jacques Philippe, a beloved spiritual writer, was the first priest of the Community and one of the first members that exposed me through his books to the beautiful charism of the community. The Community of the Beatitudes is centered on beckoning the Coming of Jesus through beauty of the liturgy, communion of the different states of life, and works of compassion.

In order to enter the Community of the Beatitudes, I must be free of debt and also have a fund for medical needs, and other bills. This past year, in God’s tenderness, I worked in a full-time job and received aid from a family which allowed me to pay off remaining debt so that I am now debt-free. However, I currently do not have a fund for these additional expenses not covered in my first year of formation.

Just for the first year of formation, the Community does not customarily cover funds for medical needs or monthly expenses such as a phone bill or insurance, although my stay with the sisters is fully covered. I am therefore responsible to have a fund for expenses outside of food and lodging. I currently do not have a fund like this. The Community encouraged me to prayerfully reach out to trusted friends for help. I wanted to entrust to your prayer this intention and thank you for the gift of your friendship, which is the greatest and true gift which you have given me.

In addition to your prayer, if you discern you are able to give financial support, I am in need of fundraising $2850.00. Thank you so much for your deep kindness in supporting me above all with prayers. At this time, I am asking for one-time gifts of 100, 150, 200, or 300. Thank you so much for the gift of your friendship, of your spiritual support and your prayer.

If you prefer not to use gofundme, you can send a gift via check to the convent (2924 W 43rd Ave, Denver, CO as mentioned on the Community's website https://denver.beatitudes.org/). Since the gift is going towards an aspirancy fund, the check can be addressed to:

Maria Gonzalez Di Tillio
2924 West 43rd Avenue
Denver, CO 80211
with memo "Gift for Maria's Aspirancy Year". Thank you so, so much.

Thank you so much for your profound kindness dearest friends. Undeserving of your prayers and assistance, I pray the Lord bless you infinitely, repaying you a thousandfold, and make known to you how incredibly and singularly Beloved and Chosen you are, His Joy. How much he cherishes you in His Arms, in His tender Eucharistic Heart, resting in the womb of Mary. I keep you in my special prayer, with gratitude and thanksgiving.
