Support Maria and Phoenix in Their Time of Need

My name is Maria. I’m a 21-year-old girl living in Fargo, ND, who's struggled so much having to depend on myself. None of my family lives nearby, and I have no dependable people in my life here. I can’t drive yet; I can’t even afford a car. Transportation bills eat up my income, and I have no savings and am in constant debt. I’ve run my financial resources dry at this point, affording food, bills, cat expenses, and, of course, transportation in the form of Lyft rides. The public transportation system here is sad and basically inaccessible for me, so I’m left with no options, really.

I also have the end of my lease coming up and can’t afford to find a new place currently. I lost my job in March too, and unemployment insurance has had me jumping through hoop after hoop since then to receive my benefits, which I am approved for. I have nothing to rely on right now and am so strapped for cash that I can’t pay my rent this month, buy groceries, or buy more food for my cat. This is genuinely my last-ditch effort to find a bit of hope while I’m between a rock and a hard place. I’ve just been struggling to keep going, and with the immense guilt I’ve had to borrow so much from those in my life, it’s felt impossible. If you can donate anything at all, even $1.00, it would mean the absolute world to me. And to Phoenix, my 4-year-old tortie (or calico?) she’s my world.
