Support Maria and Maurizio

I'm starting this go-fund-me for my dear and long-time friend, Maria! Maria is an amazing, positive, whole-hearted person, and she and her husband, Maurizio, are going through some difficult struggles right now. I can't imagine being in her shoes and I am hoping to help provide her with some support through this go-fund-me.
Maria discovered in her second trimester, that her baby girl was having some complications. After a high-risk pregnancy, little Valentina was born at 34 weeks and underwent surgery at only three days old to connect the duodenum to the stomach. Valentina has been in NICU since birth being fed through tubes and supported on oxygen. Her little lungs still cannot function without help and her stomach is still not processing food. A week after surgery Valentina also received a blood transfusion as she was anemic. Little baby girl will remain in the hospital for at least several more weeks, if all goes well!
While going through all this with Valentina, Maria also discovered that she has a large blood clot in her groin and has had to be hospitalized for immediate treatment.
Maria and Maurizio also have two little girls at home ages three and under. They also just recently moved to Philadelphia and although, they have been fortunate enough to have a family member with them during this time, they live far from family and relatives and their support system!
Please consider donating anything you can in order to help them with all the little and big extra expenses which inevitably add up through hospital bills, traveling to and from the hospital (which is an hour away from their home),help with housekeeping or childcare for their little ones!
