Our friend and fellow equestrian, Margot Meyer of Germantown, TN., recently sustained an extremely critical injury when she was thrown from a horse.
After several days receiving intensive care at Baptist East, Margot was transferred to Baptist Memorial Rehabilitation Hospital in Germantown, where she has begun her long road to recovery from this devastating C-1 vertebrae neck injury. Anyone who knows Margot knows that she is a friend to all species, especially horses, and a loving role model provider to 5 rescue dogs including several South African Boerboels who were fortunate to be adopted into her loving home.
Many of us are familiar with Margot from show rings throughout the the country, particularly Germantown, Brownland Farm, Gulfport, and many more, and we want to help ease the significant financial burden placed on her due to this horrific accident. Due to the nature of the injury, treatment is expensive, and we all know how insurance these days will not cover close to what she needs.
Margot is the glue that holds Spring Mill Farm together, where she manages that facility, and we want to help her to get back to the world she loves as soon as safely possible which will require intensive, extensive physical therapy.
We are her village in her time loss. Your generosity to this fund means more than you know. Every little bit helps.
Thank you so much!
