Support Margot’s Fight Against Brain Cancer

Donation protected
In January, Margot was diagnosed with a brain tumor and underwent brain surgery. What followed has been overwhelming for her and her family, and Margot is now in another difficult stage of this fight.

Last week, Margot began treatment at UVA: 33 radiation treatments, Monday through Friday, with a 3-hour round trip commute for every appointment. After radiation is complete, she will begin a full year of chemotherapy.

She plans to work as much as she can through treatment, but the reality is that the daily travel, the physical toll of radiation, and the effects of ongoing treatment will lead to lost work time. Her husband may also need to miss work at times to travel with her and be there for their family through this.

Margot and her husband Matt are raising two sons — a 13-year-old and a 5-year-old who is autistic and non-verbal. Their youngest depends on a high level of daily care, structure, and support, which makes this season even more demanding for the entire family.

The burden ahead is not only emotional and physical, but financial as well. Travel expenses, lost income, household bills, childcare needs, and medical expenses will add up quickly over the coming months.

We are asking for help to ease some of that burden so Margot can focus her strength on treatment, healing, and being there for her family.
If you are able to give, any amount will help and will be deeply appreciated. If you are not in a position to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser.
Please also keep Margot and her family in your prayers for strength, healing, endurance, and peace in the days ahead.

Thank you for supporting Margot and her family during one of the hardest seasons of their lives. Every donation, share, and prayer means more than words can express.
