Hi,

I'm Margo Hendricks. I'm raising funds to support travel expenses to attend the sentencing hearing of the three defendants responsible for the death of my brother. A bit of history. My brother worked at a dispensary as a security guard. In 2020 he was a victim of a drive-by shooting. It took five years to identify the individuals and bring them to trial. The trial began in November 2025 and is now in the jury deliberation stage. I would like to be in the courtroom for the verdict and the sentencing. I'm requesting support for travel expenses (the trial is CA and I live in NV). I'm am the sole source income in my household, and I have a full time college student who's taking extra classes to finish her degree in May 2026 (I pay all bills and a portion of her tuition).

Since the deaths of my brother (2020) and my sister-in-law (2024), I've been the legal guardian of their daughter. Thus, this fundraising is as much for her as for me and the rest of our family. Any and all support will help bring some emotional closure to me and my family after nearly six years. I've attended as much as the trial as my financial situation permitted but I've exhausted the small savings I had.
