Our gentle, loving, beloved Margo has been diagnosed with Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP), an autoimmune condition that attacks its own immune system and destroys platelets. She is currently experiencing severe internal bleeding around her heart and lungs. This diagnosis has devastated Carolyn and everyone who loves Carolyn and Margo.

Margo’s case of ITP is severe, and she is expected to stay at the vet clinic for at least 4-5 days as far as we know right now. She currently has to undergo multiple blood transfusions. Her treatment includes specialized medications, ongoing blood tests, X-rays and ultrasounds to monitor her platelet count and fluid filling her lungs. These treatments are crucial to manage her condition and prevent life-threatening complications.

The treatment and aftercare is going to cost thousands. We need her to get the care she needs so that she can fight and have a full recovery. In order to do that, Carolyn needs to be able to pay for all the medical bills required for continued treatment.
