As an immigrant, I have seen many people who are too scared to speak up, often out of fear of what could happen. I know people who have been deported and have witnessed the devastating impact it has had on families, neighbors, and the community. I cannot remain silent while injustices are taking place. I am speaking up for those who are too scared, and I will continue to help.

People who know me understand that I have given back tremendously in time and labor to my community, helping people with various needs. However, my activism has come at a personal cost. I have received threats and intimidation because I choose to stand up for what is right. This has created a situation where my safety and stability are at risk, but I am determined to keep supporting those who need a voice.
