Support Mare’s Fight Against Oral Cancer

Hello, we are raising funds to support Mare in her second battle with oral cancer. Mare is one brave superwoman and we are here to lift the financial burden so she can focus on her lengthy recovery! 

Unfortunately, her surgeon discovered the cancer is more extensive than originally thought and a more involved surgery is now being planned. Her surgery team estimates she will lose a significant portion of her tongue and will have reconstructive surgery as well. After surgery, she is expected to be in the ICU/hospital for a few weeks needing a feeding tube and tracheotomy to help her breathe. Once discharged, she will have a long road to recovery with different ongoing therapies over the next year.

Mare has dedicated her life helping other people at the hospital in their recovery and now she needs our help. Her recovery will span a year or more and this is our chance to support her. The donated funds will be used to pay her monthly expenses while she’s unable to work.  Mare loves surfing, being outdoors, and of course animals..especially her dogs. She is a wonderful friend, daughter, sister, fur mom, and coworker. Thank you for donating to Mare!
