Marcus, who is on the autism spectrum, was recently diagnosed with acute vision loss on April 11th. This devastating news came without warning — one moment he was his usual playful self, and the next, he began bumping into walls and stumbling on the stairs. Doctors are still unsure of the cause, and he will soon be heading to San Diego all the way from Saipan for more testing in hopes of finding answers.

What makes this even more heartbreaking is that it happened during Autism Awareness Month — a time meant to celebrate amazing kids like Marcus. Instead of enjoying this special time, he’s facing this journey ahead.

I’m organizing this fundraiser from Florida, as GoFundMe isn’t available in Saipan, and we want to make sure Marcus and his mom get all the help they need. Your donations will go directly toward travel, medical expenses, and ongoing care for Marcus.
