Hello, my name is Marcus King, and I’m writing this through tears. I never imagined I'd be in this situation. I’m a person living with disabilities, chronic health conditions, and mental health challenges. I’ve always tried to push forward with strength and dignity, but right now—I need help.

Due to a massive bed bug infestation in my low-income HUD apartment, I was forced to evacuate and stay at a homeless shelter for two nights. My home, like over 60 other units in the building, is unlivable. I've tried reporting the problem and working with local support, but the issue is far beyond what I can manage alone.

I’ve had to cancel important medical appointments and carry my belongings from place to place. I’m overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, and terrified of losing the few precious items I still have items that carry the memories and comfort I’ve held onto through so many other storms.

I'm raising funds to cover emergency housing support, replacement of damaged belongings, medical needs, transportation, and the basic necessities while I fight for safe and livable conditions.
