I never imagined I’d find myself in this position, but life has thrown some tough challenges my way. I am disabled and preparing for another surgery, all while waiting for over four years to be approved for Social Security Disability. My two dogs are my constant companions and a big part of what keeps me going, along with my kids. They bring me comfort and hope on the hardest days, and I do everything I can to care for them, even when things feel overwhelming.

Right now, I’m struggling to keep up with bills, medical expenses, and the cost of food for both myself and my dogs. Traveling to my appointments is difficult, and as an amputee, I’m also in need of a better prosthetic fitting to improve my mobility and quality of life. Every day is a challenge, but I’m doing my best to stay positive and keep moving forward for the sake of my loved ones.

I truly hate to burden or bother anyone, especially knowing how hard times are for so many people. I never thought I’d be in this situation, but here I am, reaching out for help.
