Hello friends!
After 10 years, I’m heading back into the studio to record my 6th album!
For this project, I’ve teamed up with the wonderful Art Hirahara (Co-Producer, Music Director/piano), the incomparable Michael O’Brien (bass) and the amazing Alvester Garnett (drums)!
We’ll be recording lots of new original songs, new arrangements of familiar standards and even a brand new original Christmas song!
We’ll have plenty of featured guests and we’ll be also debuting a few songs I wrote with my mom, Marylynn Goldhaber!
Autumn is definitely the most inspiring time of year for me… it also brings in the Jewish New Year and – September is my birthday month!!

Most of you know that I devoted the past 6 years of my life to creating, launching and growing Room 623, Harlem’s speakeasy Jazz club. We had incredible success (thanks to many of you) and built something truly amazing that I am extremely proud of… but there was certainly a trade off – no time to even think about recording any new music. Still, I always made time to keep writing.
SO, with Room 623 temporarily on “pause,” MY music is now on “play!”
(sorry, couldn’t resist).
About the Album
I have selected songs for this project that speak to the promise of hope and a renewed sense of partnership that is often closer and more available to us than we realize.
This is a very hard time in the world for so many and it often feels surreal to be an artist searching for ways to inspire hopefulness and healing when we are surrounded by so much hardship and struggle. My wish is for these songs to help ease your journey, lighten your heart, bring you a smile and remind you that no matter what - you are not alone.
In addition to the musicians mentioned above, this project will feature an extraordinary lineup of musicians and creative partners to help bring this vision to life:

This project is an absolute labor of love and meant to offer hope, help us all connect through music and remind us of our common ground. We often forget the immense power we have to lift each other up, make each other laugh, listen and be kind to each other.
