Support Marcus Freeman's Fight Against NMO

Donation protected
My name is Martin Cunningham and I am raising funds for my brother and friend, Marcus Freeman. Marcus is a father of four girls and works as a railroad conductor for BNSF Railway.

Marcus was recently diagnosed with a very rare autoimmune disease called neuromyelitis optica (NMO). The disease is debilitating and has caused Marcus to partially lose his eyesight and has caused partial paralysis in his legs and arms, as well as other debilitating symptoms. The cause of NMO in patients is unknown, but with early detection, it does have a promising prognosis.

Marcus has a long road to recovery which consists of months of in-patient rehabilitation and physical therapy, and it will be many months before the possibility exists for Marcus to be able to return to work and is able to provide for his family again. The funds we are requesting being donated will go towards Marcus' medical bills and being able to support his children until he is able to get back on his feet and return to work. No amount is too small. Everything helps. Thanks so much in advance.
