Support Marcus Bishop's Urgent Medical Recovery

I am reaching out during a time of unimaginable hardship. While on a long-awaited vacation in Florida, Marcus Bishop my significant other of 17 years suffered a serious and unexpected medical emergency that has left him hospitalized, with severe paralysis on his left side and significantly weakened motor skills. The moment he woke and I spoke to him, I didn’t even recognize his voice—something that truly broke my heart.

Marcus remains in the hospital, and his recovery path is still uncertain. I have been by his side every moment, doing everything in her power to navigate this devastating situation. I am working with health advocates to try and make sense of what comes next—how to get Marcus the care and rehabilitation he urgently needs, including physical therapy which has yet to even be scheduled.

I have already spent thousands of dollars on emergency hotel stays, meals, and other unforeseen expenses—all far beyond what we had budgeted for this vacation. What was meant to be a time of rest and joy has instead turned into a nightmare, leaving me emotionally and financially overwhelmed, unsure where to turn next.
