Marc’s colon cancer has progressed by spreading to other parts of his body, which has left him unable to work. He is actively receiving chemotherapy every other week for 8 hours a day, followed by two days of injections to help build his blood cells so he can fight the cancer harder. The treatment is taking a huge toll on him, and he’s had horrible reactions, including heart complications that required him to stay in the hospital with a team of specialists to make sure he didn’t suffer heart failure. Now, Marc’s medical team is considering whether he will need to have his entire colon removed and receive a colostomy bag as the next step to target the spread of the cancer.
Our family has helped Marc apply for Social Security Disability, but that process takes time and he has very limited resources right now. He needs help covering medical co-pays, travel expenses, medications, and daily living costs. Marc is still trying to run his small business when he feels well enough, but it just isn’t enough to meet his needs.
We know the holidays have just passed and money can be tight, but we’re asking for your support—no matter how small. If you’ve helped Marc before, we are so grateful for your kindness. Please consider sharing this fundraiser, and if you’re unable to contribute, we would deeply appreciate your prayers during this difficult time.
