My name is Veronica, and I am Marcos’s sister. I’m writing to share some very difficult news and to ask for your support during this challenging time.

Recently, Marcos suffered a major stroke that required emergency, life-saving brain surgery. He is currently in a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH), in critical condition and under intensive care. Before being transferred to the LTACH, Marcos spent three weeks in the ICU. His road to recovery will be long and uncertain, involving extensive medical care, rehabilitation, and a significant amount of time away from work.

Marcos is not only a devoted father but also a highly respected physical therapist and athletic trainer who has dedicated his life to helping others heal and regain their strength. This sudden and devastating health crisis has completely changed everything for him and our family.

Because of the extensive care Marcos requires and the significant medical and rehabilitation expenses that are not fully covered by insurance, I am starting a fundraising effort to support him through this difficult journey. Every little bit helps, and your contribution, no matter how small, will go directly towards ensuring Marcos receives the care and resources he needs for the best possible recovery.
