Support Marcos Rodriguez's Family After Tragedy

On Saturday, August 31, 2024, Marcos Rodriguez, the MOB Father of M.O.B. Cycling, was tragically killed in a bicycle accident. Marcos was a dedicated husband, father and friend. He formed M.O.B. Cycling for the love of cycling and to help those who were new to the sport, never saying no to any level of rider, providing insight, support and encouragement. There were few Saturdays that you would not find him leading his pack out on a regular bike ride. He was the club's heart and soul. He built not only a cycling club, but a family.

Marcos' dedication to cycling was just one of his qualities. Once you met Marcos, you knew Marcos. He did not hide behind his words. He was honest in his words and actions. Marcos was good hearted, and cared about everyone, but not afraid to tell you the truth, whether you liked it or not. You could not meet Marcos and not come away liking him. With Marcos, everyone was welcome, on his rides, at his home, in his life.

Above all of that, Marcos was a dedicated husband and father. The essence of Marcos was his family. He leaves behind a loving wife, Maribel, three children, Xiomie, Roman and Santos, and two grandchildren. Marcos was the owner of Avail-Technologies & Cabling and was the sole provider for his family. With his passing, the family has been left without an income.

This fundraiser has been created to help provide financial support to the family as they try to figure out how to move forward without the rock of the family.. The hope is they can find a way forward to allow them to remain in their home until the youngest, Santos, is able to graduate from high school in the spring of 2025.
