Unexpected things can change our lives in an instant and this happened to Marco and Cathy Heeter 2 weeks ago. A tree fell on their home they've been living in for the past 15+ years and damaged the electrical system beyond repair.
Marco's landlord made the difficult decision not to make the expensive repairs and asked Marco and Cathy to begin the process of moving out. Well, anyone who lives in Charlotte can tell you: this is an expensive real estate town with rent skyrocketing over the past few years. Marco and Cathy were not expecting to be in this position and are in need of help from friends to get rental deposits and fees paid (first and last month rent, damage deposits, application fees, utility deposits, etc...).
Marco would never ask for help...but I know he and Cathy need our help. Marco is one of the hardest working people I've ever met and is always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. I hope we can all come together and support Marco and Cathy in this challenging moment in their life. Please consider any amount you're able to donate, as anything will help. THANK YOU for taking a moment to consider helping!
Marco will be the beneficiary of the support and ALL funds will be given to him for expenses related to finding a new home.
NOTE: This is NOT a McColl Center sponsored initiative and I'm doing this fundraiser as an individual person/friend NOT as an employee.
