Support Marci's Liver Transplant Journey

My name is Marcelite, most of you know me as Marci. I am a fairly newlywed and mother of two beautiful children whom I have hardly seen in the last 2 months. Very recently I was diagnosed with a rare genetic mutation (Factor 5 Leiden deficiency) and a liver disease (Budd Chiari) which caused blood clots in my liver. These blood clots weakened my liver so drastically I now have cirrhosis of the liver and what’s called decompensated liver disease. I have also recently found out I have blood clots in my lungs. Things are tough. I am finally on the transplant list! I have been in the hospital now 6 weeks and we are struggling to help keep everything afloat at home and here at the hospital.
