Marcio Sartorial Walsh Lucchesi is not just a friend and coworker at Citybikes—he’s a vital part of our family and a renowned photographer who has captured the spirit of Miami’s cycling and sports community for years. Many also know him as @velopixx on Instagram, where his passion for cycling and sports photography has inspired countless people. Now, Marcio is facing one of the toughest challenges of his life: a battle with pancreatic cancer that has led him to need a multi-viceral transplant.

Over the past months, Marcio has endured countless rounds of chemotherapy, endless tests, and numerous medical interventions. Despite all he’s been through, his spirit remains strong. But right now, he is in a hospital room, waiting for the transplant that could save his life. As someone from Brazil, Marcio doesn’t have family here in Miami to lean on during this incredibly difficult time.
