Support Marcie's Journey to Mayo Clinic for Answers

Hello everyone, and thank you for taking the time out of your day to read my story. I am truly in need of assistance to cover the funding for specialized medical testing. My immunologist at Athens Piedmont has completed the testing covered by my insurance, and I am being referred to the Mayo Clinic. My main concern is to determine the cause of my illness and rule out malignancy. There is also a possibility of an autoimmune disease being involved, especially since I am immune-compromised.

My day-to-day life is a constant struggle due to chronic nausea, which prevents me from eating. Even when I manage to eat, my stomach spasms and hurts. Despite taking prescription Promethazine, I still experience severe nausea. My energy levels are depleted, and I am in desperate need of answers so that I can regain control of my health, return to work, and lead a healthy life once again.

The current blood work shows alarmingly low levels of serotype antibodies. The next step is to identify the primary immunodeficiency I have and the necessary procedures, as well as to rule out cancer. My doctor's response to my lab results was concerning; I have extremely low levels of 6 out of 24 different antibodies (serotype), and 23 out of 24 are in the low range.

I am determined to find the answers I need and have faith that I will get through this. Any donations would be greatly appreciated, as every bit helps me move closer to gaining control of my health and wellness. At the moment, I am unable to work and cannot afford the expenses associated with the Mayo Clinic. Your support gives me hope and strength during this difficult time.
