Marcie Williams was diagnosed on August 19th, 2014 with Stage IV Ovarian Cancer. On August 25th, 2014 she started Chemotherapy. Marcie is a devoted wife to husband Ed and a loving mother to Justin who is in his second year of college and Jessica a high school senior.

Since coming home from the hospital on Wednesday, Marcie is experiencing pain and body aches from the Chemo. She tries to rest as much as possible. My sister Edrianne is making her fabulous, healthy meals and protein shakes and of course Marcie would rather eat pizza or Doritos She is staying at my house during this time, so please feel free to send any words of encouragement or well wishes to her at my home address...116 North Street, Canonsburg, PA 15317

9.19.14 - Marcie's Surgery Day.
9.19.14 - Marcie is out of surgery and everything went well! The doctor said she responded wonderfully to the chemo that she's had thus far. They did the full hysterectomy and removed the lining of the intestines that they knew was affected by the cancer and found no other tumors or spreading. She is in the ICU now and will be all weekend. She most likely will remain in the hospital for about 10 days or so total. The doctor also said they would like for her to have chemo for a full year, once a month, to try and nip this in the bud. But all went well, Deanna wanted to say thank you to everyone who sent well wishes for Marcie and they are all very happy and relieved the surgery went great!
