He's recovering from major surgery, dammit! How's that for a story, GoFundMe?

Marcel has returned home after urgent heart surgery on January 29. His procedures went well, but if you want the gory details, you'll have to check in with him. Give him a pair of seconds, though! He'll tell his own story in his own time. 

However, Marcel is facing a long recovery and will need help of all kinds.  Meal Trains are being arranged by local friends, but a variety of needs - from paying bills to purchasing medications and supplies, and much more - will require resources. 

Marcel is a self-reliant spirit and one typically shy of asking for help. We, however, believe that the rich friendship and invaluable opportunities Marcel has offered to his community, both near and far, will return to him tenfold. 

This will be an ongoing fundraiser, but we hope you'll help us make progress toward our first goal in the next week or two. Please give what you can when you can! Stay tuned for updates.
