My name is Marcellus, and over the past few months, my life has changed in ways I never expected. In September, I suffered a mild stroke that left me facing new health challenges. Just a few weeks later, I needed emergency surgery for a bowel obstruction. Then, in November, I received the news that I have lymphoma cancer. Each of these events has been difficult on its own, but together, they have made it nearly impossible for me to keep up with everyday expenses and medical needs.

My chemotherapy is very aggressive. Unlike most people who receive treatment for a couple of hours and then go home, I am hooked up to chemo for five days straight and have to stay in the hospital every 21 days for this treatment. This has made it even harder to manage daily life and keep up with bills, appointments, and basic needs while focusing on my recovery.
