I rescued my bird, Marcello, about a year ago after he had spent nearly 10 years confined to a cage. Since I adopted him, he's become my travel buddy, my companion, and my reason to live. I've given him the freedom and love he always deserved, and in return, he's given me joy, comfort, and purpose every single day.

Unfortunately, last night I sat on my baby Marcello. I am mortified; I had no clue he was hiding in my comforter on my bed. There was a nosebleed, and there is no way I can dismiss this. It could very well be head trauma, but I certainly hope not because I'm not sure if I can afford the hefty vet bill, but I'll do anything to make sure he's OK.

Any help would be extremely appreciated.

The x-ray usually costs about $500 because they have to sedate him. The rest of the cost will also go into a blood test because I suspect he may have arthritis and may need medication. Updates will be provided.
