Support Marcello's Spinal Surgery Journey

Hello, this will be for my son Marcello! My brave boy. He was born with spina bifida and had a surgery at 3 months old to remedy his tethered cord and remove tissue from within spinal column. We were being seen the past 9 years at Hershey children's hospital to monitor his development. At around 6 years old he started having worse incontinence issues, foot pain and hamstring tightness and pain. They weren't really getting down to the root cause of his issues and wanted to just treat his symptoms. We changed to CHOP for this past years checkup and they ordered an MRI to determine if his spinal cord had retethered itself and unfortunately it had. After years of issues and traveling to Hershey for them to send us home with bandaids for his issues I'm so glad I changed to CHOP. We finally have some answers. He has had a few procedures and is scheduled for his spinal surgery this month. Ofcourse we are and have received bill after medical bill and he hasn't even had this big surgery yet. I'm going to be off from work unpaid to be with him in the hospital and Ofcourse we will be struggling but I'm hoping we can make it work somehow. We do have commercial insurance but that is a joke when it comes to what it actually covers. I thank you for anything you can contribute for my baby boy.
