Hi everyone! My name is Marcela, and I am currently a medical student with a deep passion for service, humanism in medicine, and caring for underserved communities. This year, I’ve been given the incredible opportunity to travel to Guatemala on a medical mission trip, where I will be working in free clinics, helping provide basic medical care, health education, and compassion to individuals who often have limited access to healthcare.

As a future physician, I believe that medicine is not just a profession, it’s a calling to serve, uplift, and advocate. This trip represents a meaningful step in my journey, allowing me to grow as a healer while learning from the resilience, culture, and stories of the Guatemalan people. The experience will shape the way I care for future patients and deepen my commitment to equitable healthcare.

I am fundraising to help cover the cost of my flight and lodging, which are required for me to take part in this mission. Any contribution, big or small, truly means the world to me and directly supports my ability to show up, learn, and serve.
