Our dear friend Chela was recently diagnosed with HER2+ Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, Stage II. She is set to begin a rigorous treatment journey, starting with six cycles of chemotherapy, followed by surgery, and potentially radiation. Her full recovery process is expected to take about a year, with treatment starting on November 13.

Chela is the heart of our community—hardworking, selfless, caring, creative, and endlessly funny. She has a unique way of making everyone around her feel loved and supported. Now, it’s our turn to show her the same care and compassion she so freely gives to others.
