Support Marcale Peterson's Burn Recovery

My name is Cheryl Conwell, and I am Marcale Peterson's sister. On the morning of August 10th, Marcale was involved in a very serious accident while working on a vehicle that backfired and caused 2nd and 3rd degree burns on over 38% of his body. The burns cover his entire head, chest, arms and part of his back. A friend of his was with him at the time and quickly tried to put out the fire and he was later flown to the burn unit at Medical City in Plano. He was admitted to critical care ICU and have undergone two of many surgeries he will need to complete skin grafts. He has a long journey ahead of him as the flames got into his lungs as well. He is currently in a drug induced coma and remains unconscious at this time.

All of this to say, I have started this GoFundMe to not only assist with hospital bills but I am praying this financial blessing will help to cover the cost of medical expenses, rehabilitation, and long term treatment he will need when he transitions home. This financial blessing will also cover the cost of Marcale being out of work. He will no longer be able to provide for his family while he is in recovery. My biggest prayer is that these funds will take a small amount of stress away so Marcale can focus on healing and his long road to recovery.
