Marc is an Air Force veteran and a Critical Care Flight Nurse who has spent his life helping others. Recently, Marc was diagnosed with Legionnaires' Pneumonia, which required an ICU admission where he is currently spending an extended period of time on a ventilator. This sudden illness has left him unable to work, and the reality is that the mortgage, bills, and soon a mountain of medical expenses will begin to come in. Marc had just moved in with his longtime girlfriend Lisa, an ICU Nurse, along with their two dogs, Sam and Oreo. While Marc focuses on recovery, Lisa is working hard to keep everything together, and needs our help to keep things afloat.
Marc's coworkers have established this fund to help support Marc and Lisa during this stressful and uncertain time. Those who know Marc understand that he would be the last person to ask for help and the first to offer it to anyone in need. Lisa shares the same selfless spirit, and together they have dedicated their lives to caring for others. Now, it's our turn to return the favor and show them the strength of their community of family, friends, and colleagues. Your support will help them cover essential expenses and ensure Sam and Oreo continue to get the love and treats they deserve.
Thank you for any support you can offer. Get well soon, Marc—we can't wait to see you back at work, helping patients on the helicopter, ambulance, and in the ICU.
