Mara (Cow) became a member of the family as a rescue 6 years ago. She was used as a bait dog, her teeth ground down to her gum line, and has dozens of visible scars on her face, head, chest, legs, and abdomen as a result of the many attacks she endured for several years. She was bred over and over again until she was no longer producing healthy puppies. Then she was dumped and left to die in the sweltering Arizona desert.

Fast forward to today. Despite the torture she was subjected to, Mara is the sweetest, most gentle, and lovable girl, and she needs help. Mara has undergone 2 separate surgeries, and now needs a third. Her family has maxed out credit cards and all other resources to take care of their girl. I set up this GoFundMe account, on their and Mara's behalf, in hopes that folks in their community, and others, might be able to assist in paying for this next surgery.
