The Maple Shade Tigers are humbly asking for assistance from the community, friends, and businesses for support after a major loss of funding for the children of the program. The Tigers annual carnival was forced to close due to disruptions in the community after the carnival closed. The closing resulted in the Tigers losing approximately $15,000 to $20,000 that are used to help provide equipment for the teams.
For over 50 years, the Maple Shade Tigers carnival has been a tradition and the primary fundraiser supporting the Tigers non-profit youth football organization. The funds raised help cover the many expenses that come with running a youth organization that has a large amount of expenses throughout the season and off-season.
In 2025, we proudly had three teams win the Group 2 Championship, and we celebrated those accomplishments by purchasing championship jackets for every player. Our organization works hard to keep registration costs affordable for families while continuing to reinvest back into the program and our athletes.
We are committed to providing the best and safest experience possible for our kids. Over the past few years, we have invested in state-of-the-art football equipment and safety gear, including Guardian Caps for every player in our program and a new JUGS football machine to help improve training and development. All of our helmets need to be recertified every two years to ensure the safety of the student athletes in the program.
The Maple Shade Tigers strive to give back to our athletes and community as much as possible. Every donation and sponsorship directly helps support the children in our program and ensures we can continue providing a positive, affordable, and competitive football experience for years to come. The Tigers appreciate any assistance that may be available.
