On the early morning of July 23, 2025, around 3:15 AM, my father, Manuel, was seriously injured in an explosion at Panhandle Milling, where he has worked with dedication and pride. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was airlifted to the burn unit in Lubbock, TX, where he remains in critical condition and is receiving intensive medical care. He will require multiple surgeries in the coming weeks, along with a long and challenging recovery ahead.

Manuel is a fighter — full of life, resilience, and strength. No matter what obstacles life throws at him, he’s always met them with courage and determination. Now, as he begins this long and difficult journey of recovery, we are asking for your help.
