In Loving Memory of Manuela Rodriguez, BSN, RN

A Tribute to a Kind and Caring Soul

We are heartbroken by the tragic passing of our dear friend and coworker, Manuela Rodriguez, a dedicated registered nurse at Peterson Hospital in Kerrville, TX. For the past three years, Manuela served on the Acute Rehab Unit, providing compassionate care to her patients. She also worked at Careville Foster Home in Mountain Home, Texas, where she cared for disabled and medically fragile individuals. With a heart of gold, she consistently went above and beyond for those in her care.

On February 16, 2025, Manuela lost her life due to a drunk and impaired driver in a car accident at 6:30 AM while on her way to work. She was only 53 years old and leaves behind her husband, Joel Rodriguez, and her son, Angelo, who is autistic.

Honoring Her Legacy

In tribute to Manuela’s memory, we are raising funds to support causes close to her heart. Your donations will contribute to:

Manuela worked tirelessly to find affordable care for him, facing significant challenges. As she expressed, “No matter what, I’ll find a way, my dear friend, to help my child.”
