But in 2019, Mansur was diagnosed with aggressive brain cancer. After years of treatment, emergency surgery in Istanbul removed the main tumor. Now, life-threatening spinal metastases remain. He urgently needs complex surgery and rehabilitation—costing €211,000—within the next 30 days.
