Our dear friend Manny recently endured a traumatic and unprovoked attack just outside his home as he was returning from work. Having only just moved into the neighborhood, he never imagined facing such violence in what was supposed to be a fresh start.

As a result of the attack, Manny suffered a broken femur and required emergency surgery the very next day. His recovery will be long and painful, involving extensive physical therapy before he can regain full use of his leg.

Unfortunately, this means Manny is unable to work for the foreseeable future. Without another source of income, he’s now facing mounting bills and everyday expenses with no safety net.
