Hi everyone,

A few days ago, I was admitted to the hospital after experiencing severe abdominal pain. In a very short time, doctors discovered that I have a rare and aggressive form of cancer called EGCT (Extragonadal Germ Cell Tumor) that has already spread to my abdomen and lungs. Because of how aggressive it is, I will be starting urgent chemotherapy.

This news came completely out of nowhere, and my life, along with the lives of the people who love me most, has changed overnight. I am only in my 20s and was working full-time prior to this diagnosis.

Due to treatment and recovery, I will not be able to work for the foreseeable future. Right now, my focus has to be on fighting this and getting through each day.
