Manny has been battling stage 4 liver and lung cancer for the past year. He has been in and out of the hospital for the past eight months, first undergoing surgery to remove the tumor, then enduring weeks of radiation treatment, followed by months of grueling chemotherapy. Despite his determination and the best efforts of his medical team, none of the traditional treatments have worked, and the cancer has grown. Doctors are unsure how to proceed and have asked Manny to wait before discussing further options. Although frustrated and disappointed, Manny hasn't given up. Guided by his strong faith in Jesus, he sought out alternative medicines and found "Williams Cancer Institute," and all their medical procedures are done in Baja California Sur San Jose De Los Cabos. Their treatments are fully personalized to meet the unique needs of each patient, ensuring the most effective and targeted cancer care possible. Manny needs our help right now. He is a 1985 Bell Gardens High School alumni who, for the last 40 years, has served the Bell Gardens community as a teacher and coach. He has taught adult school and high school, coached football, basketball, and girls powder puff, and led the BGHS boys and girls track and field programs to many league championships. Manny is currently teaching ESL and citizenship classes at Suva Adult School and Bell Gardens Adult School, despite having stage 4 cancer.
