Support Manny Ledesma's Transplant Journey
Donation protected
My wife and I have been going to Rodrigo's (previously Don Jose's ) in Laguna Hills now for over 50 years. Manny Ledesma has been the head bartender and waiter in the bar area for many years now. We have gotten to know him and his family over the years and seen what a hard worker he is; often working two jobs. He is always friendly and is very personable, getting to know all of his customers. He is married with a 6 year old son. His wife cleans houses for a living. For the past two months, he has been hospitalized due a failing kidney and liver. He now needs a kidney and liver transplant. He has already started dialysis and has to go three times a week for these treatments. The family doesn't have health insurance with the exception of Medicare. Manny has not been able to work for the past two months and will not be able to work until after he has recovered from the transplants. His wife will not be able to work as much, if at all, as she is his sole caregiver and transportation to his many treatments. We know that many of you have met Manny and have gotten to know him over the years as well. We are hoping that we can all work together to help out Manny and his family with some of their current and future medical expenses.
