Manno’s Market is a community-focused food company founded by Chef Michael Manno. Shaped by a lifelong journey from dishwashing to executive chef to global product development chef, Chef Michael built Manno’s Market on a simple conviction: the best food honors the people who grew it and the people gathered to eat it. Built with restaurant-caliber technique and family-table warmth, Manno’s Market is growing into a chef-owned regional food hub for the DuPage County area. This fundraiser will help Manno’s Market accept grassroots support so it can feed people in need when they cannot pay and keep building a stronger connection between local producers and the community. Donations will help build a local distribution center and strengthen Manno’s Market’s food security and supply chain network, supporting local food shelves, communities, artisans, producers, American farmers, ranchers, and agriculture workers. Chef Michael’s model is not focused on scaling like food chains and groups of the past, but on a duplication model rooted in open-source modeling so stronger local food systems can be built through shared ideas and community connection.
