December 6th Update
Manne is getting ready to head home from Seattle in about 10 Days! He is officially 100% my bone marrow and will be getting his central line removed in a few days! He’s been able to adventure outside and start to build his strength back up! The long countdown to return back to Missoula is almost over! Once he gets back to Missoula, he will still need to regularly check with his doctor there but we are all so happy for him to be home. To be able to find out what the new normal at home is like and be around his loved ones.
He will still need some assistance to get back on his feet as staying in Seattle for the last 6 months hasn’t been for the faint of heart financially. Neither him nor his fiancé were able to work due to the circumstances they have been under.
All the donations so far have been greatly appreciated and if anyone can donate more, it would mean the world.
Thank you to everyone for all of their support throughout the last 6 months!

October 1st Update
A lot has happened since the last update. On September 2nd, I had my bone marrow harvested at the University of Kansas. They were able to get more than enough stems cells to give to Manne. The following day he started receiving them. He had to go through a couple rounds of chemotherapy to ensure the stem cells wouldn’t be rejected.
As of now, his body hasn’t rejected the cells which is amazing! He will need to remain in Seattle for a couple more months which ultimately is putting him in more financial hardship to keep up with bills.
If anyone can find it in their hearts to support, we would truly be grateful.

June 11th Update
Thank you so much to everyone who has donated!
Manne made it back to Missoula this past Sunday. He’s happy to be out of the hospital for now but will be going back at the end of this month to continue preparing him for his bone marrow transplant. In other good news, his sister is a donor match for him!
Please continue your prayers and thoughts as he is still in need of them!
Thank you so much!

May 31st Update:
Manne is in the recovery room, alert but groggy, working on pain control.
The surgeons were able to remove the thymus tumor entirely. Drained the fluid in and around the chest wall. No suspicious other cells present with the draining of the chest wall mass.
Manne will remain in Seattle for the next two weeks to recover and in the mean time the doctors are going to start working hard on his acquired aplastic anemia. The hope is that removing the thymus and tumor will kickstart his bone marrow, however, they are looking for a match for a possible bone marrow transplant.
If you are not a donor, please consider being one for bone marrow, blood, or platelets. As our mom would say, every donation helps!
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers!

Hello everyone,
Our family is going through an incredibly difficult time, and we’re reaching out for support — in whatever form you're able to give — for my brother Manne.
Manne’s Story
On May 15th, 2025, Manne began receiving blood transfusions due to dangerously low platelets, red blood cells, and white blood cells. Doctors discovered a tumor on his thymus and are currently working to confirm whether he is also battling aplastic anemia, a rare and serious bone marrow condition.
He was transported from Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana to the University of Washington Medical Center - Montlake in Seattle. There, he’s undergoing extensive testing including blood work, bone marrow biopsies, and an upcoming surgery to remove the tumor. While his full diagnosis is still unclear, what we do know is that Manne is facing a long, uncertain, and intense road ahead.
Why We’re Asking for Help
During this time, Manne is unable to work, and his fiancée Lyndsay is staying by his side to care for him — meaning their household has no income. We’re raising $10,000 to help them cover essential living expenses like:
Rent
Car payments
Insurance
Cell phone bills
And other monthly necessities
These funds will ease the financial burden and allow them to focus fully on Manne’s recovery and ongoing medical care.
How You Can Help
This is a frightening time for our family, but we believe in the power of community and compassion. Whether it’s donating, sharing this fundraiser, or simply sending love, prayers, and words of encouragement, we are incredibly grateful for any support you can offer.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for showing up for Manne in this time of need. Every gesture makes a difference.
With love,
Angie
