For 15 years, Mannaz vzw has been a sanctuary for gifted and highly sensitive children—young people who often feel overwhelmed by the world and misunderstood in traditional schools.

These are not just bright children. They are deep thinkers, feelers, and creators. But without the right environment, their light dims. At Mannaz, they find space to breathe, to be fully themselves, and to begin building a future where their sensitivity is not a burden, but a strength.

Mannaz has made a real difference in countless lives—offering one-on-one guidance, special time-out programmes for children on the edge of burnout, and courses that help parents and professionals understand and support them better. Our approach is personal, loving, and deeply respectful of each child’s unique path.

But today, we are at a turning point.

We urgently need your help.

Eighteen months ago, Mannaz moved into a temporary home in the historical Begijnhof of Dendermonde (Belgium), with the promise of a second building to follow. That second space never came. Our current location is simply too small: where we normally support 12 to 15 children, we can now only welcome 4.

Every month, we’ve done everything possible to keep going—making up for lost income with personal savings, quiet sacrifices, and unwavering belief. But now, those reserves are gone. We are facing the real possibility of closure, just as more and more families are reaching out for support.

We’re asking for your help to bridge this difficult period.

Your donation will go directly to keeping Mannaz alive—covering basic costs, preventing disconnection of vital services, and allowing us to continue supporting the children who need us most, until a new space becomes available.
